Hello, that's not currently supported. But I don't see why it shouldn't be. I will try to add in the next rev.

Thanks,

TD

I've found that the "with names" section of the Set Values of HTML Form action fails when I attempt to enter a variable from a Set Variable Action. As a workaround, I am able to workaround and target the input name using using the same variable in the Set Value of HTML Element action. However the workaround isn't ideal as it requires a great deal more actions to add values to inputs. In example I'm attaching actions that work followed by those that don't.

This works:

So does this:

But this does not work:

Any updates on this feature? The tedium inflicted by lack of variables supported in this action is killing me.

Using Fake Variables in the "Set Value of HTML Element" is easy.

Just use this syntax: ${myVarName}:

I understand that way but I'm somewhat committed to 'Set Values of HTML Form' action mainly because I'm dealing w/ massively long forms and setting each field individually will create a super long workflow. In my screenshot the area highlighted in red is the form id followed by the page id, in this case '12'. The thing is that I have forms that are duplicate in many ways (yet different enough to test separately) but since they are different forms they have different ID's. So I would love, love, love, to set the form ID as a variable so that when I test different forms I don't need to reset all the form names w/ the correct ID's. Normally I would give zero shits about testing surveygizmo forms like this but in this case they are connected to external applications so thorough testing is crucial. Fake is tremendously helpful in this regard but the ability to set variables in that action is sorely missing from my perspective. Thanks for understanding.
