With a lot of new features which I'm too tired to write about :)

You can peruse them here: http://fakeapp.com/changelog.html

Thx to all for the great feedback/feature suggestions that went into
this one.

Awesome work, Todd!

I just updated and am very hopeful that this will solve some problems
I've had with textareas and file uploads. And the Javascript keyboard
events are a great addition!

Lots of great stuff in there, I'll give some of them a spin later.

Thanks,

Yeah, 0.8 is an amazingly slick release. My crazy "untestable" ajax
app is all of a sudden starting to become not only testable, but
trivially testable.

Great work Todd!!

Todd, this is a great release!

But oops! I used to be able to set the value of a drop down html
element programmatically by a variable (from its index) and that won't
work anymore. Thoughts?

Hey brian, yeah If i understand you correctly, I anticipated this problem, and there is a solution, it's just not very discoverable :(

As you noticed, after connecting (control-dragging) a "Set Value of HTML Element" Action to a <select>, <input type=radio>, or <input type=checkbox>, you now get a special UI for a dropdown or a checkbox.

That's cool, but you can't enter a text value anymore (like a variable). that sux.

But you can get the old behavior back by right-clicking the Action and selecting "Show Value Text Field".

I'm open to suggestion on whether this new feature is good or bad or how the switch could be made more discoverable. :|
