Descaling

Is there a method descale the lines and boiler without disassembling the
machine? I have a C85.

One would have to do significant flushing to remove the descaling solution
from the lines and boiler.

Problem; debris from the descaling will clog up the orfices, head, and
solenoid valves.

I assumed that would be the problem.  Any thoughts about how effective the deionizer column is in removing the hard water salts from the tap water? I regenerate mine on a regular basis.
