hello
i am trying to setup a project in Facegen customizer. I am running
into this error message which the vertices of the facegen and my face
is not matching.
Does my character's face have to be matched 100% in order to work with
facegen? Also i am wondering if my face should me cut it up like the
mean face.(how it does not have the neck and back of the head)???

I also tried to match the faces that we previously worked on with
facegen, and it also gives me an error yet works fine in the facegen
modeler. Why is that?

thanks
sean

Hello Sean,

In the "Re-scaled/Re-oriented mean face" dialog you have to enter the
rotated/scaled/translated FaceGen internal mean mesh, not your own
mesh, that's why it's complaining about the number of vertices not
matching.

You enter your mesh in the next step; "Imported registered models".

Your mesh can include the whole head and be any mesh structure,
although its shaped must match your rotated/scaled/translated FaceGen
internal mean mesh.
