Hi,

i´m using FG Customizer with 3ds max. When i reorient and rescale the
internal meanface inside 3ds max and export it as obj, it appears in
wrong orientation in Customizer and the integration doesn´t work. The
only way it will work is to leave the imported face inside 3ds max as
is and export it also in this orientation which is the face pointing
upwards.

Is there any way to make Customizer work with the orientaion that
would be correct in 3ds max?

best rgards

Hi Anna,

It sounds like you're talking about the 'Check registered models' step
of the first stage in Customizer (Head Model Preparation). When you
load the internal mean mesh into that window, it doesn't matter what
the orientation is, the only thing that matters is that it matches
your head mesh (which you also load into that window). So feel free to
rotate around to confirm that the 2 surfaces are well aligned. As long
as the 2 surfaces are well matched, any other surfaces in the same
coordinate system should then integrate correctly in the subsequent
stages.

Best wishes,
Andrew.
