I'm having problems loading a Flash object (embedding in a remote
page) with the AJAX call. I have tried embedding it statically and
dynamically. I just get kicked to my error message that flash isn't
installed. Anyone have a workaround, either for loading a remote page
with a SWF object or just loading the object itself in Facebox.

Thanks,

Andrew

If you can make your example using SWF in embedded remote page
available online I'll take a look at it.

I have the same prob.

It semms that swfobject.js and the facebox.js won`t work together.
With both Javascripts in the header i get an error while loading the
page.

I using the Joomla CMS.

I don`t found any way to solve that prob.

Someone else?

I can't offer a solution but, unless you're committed to using
Facebox, Shadowbox would be worth trying. It can be used with a number
of javascript frameworks and is well suited to Flash presentation.

Note that a license is required for commercial use.

Not the facebox was the prob, it was the jquery.js

Here is a solution: http://jquery.lukelutman.com/plugins/flash/

For me it works. IE and FF

But i havn`t found a way to give a *.flv movie a preview image.

but i try, i try ...
