Hi all,

I am working on 3D-Reconstruction problem as my B.Tech project. Can
any one tell me how to reconstruct 3D image from two uncalibrated
cameras.

If the calibration of the cameras is given then we can solve by
finding the Fundamental Matrix (F) and then Essential Matrix and then
we can get the 3D point by rotation and translation. But how to do if
calibration of the cameras are not given.

Please help me out any one doing on this topic or already done.

Hi,

If you read the paper Stereo from uncalibrated cameras by Richard
Hartley et al or the book Multiple View Geometry. You´ll find your
answers.

The most important problem to solve it is the uncertainity in the 3D
position of the points.

Ok, I hope you can accomplish your mission.

Regards,

Augusto
