The Discipline of Philosophy, University of Adelaide, Australia, is
pleased to announce two new tenurable positions:

THE UNIVERSITY OF ADELAIDE

LECTURER (2 positions)
School of Humanities

Applications are invited from suitably qualified academics in all areas
of Philosophy. The strongest two appointments will be made that enable
the Philosophy Discipline to fulfil its teaching and research needs.
Between them, the two successful candidates must be able to cover the
Discipline's essential needs in the following areas:

· applied ethics teaching (all levels)
· teaching of critical thinking and informal logic at first year level
· teaching & research in metaphysics (all levels, including postgraduat=
e
supervision)

Salary: $55,876 - $66,353 per annum, plus attractive superannuation
benefits.

Both positions are available on a tenurable basis from 1 February 2005
