Does anyone have a reference for any place in which Nelson Goodman talks ab
out aesthetic realism and/or aesthetic properties? I am keen to know if his
symbol theory of depiction could be consistent with the view that artworks
possess aesthetic and phenomenal properties, since it seems that this is w
hat his feature of 'density' could amount to.
Any pointers to ease my massive confusion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
