I am extremely liking this video from a group in Norway called
Katzenjammer, "A Bar In Amsterdam." The harmonies remind me of
someone else, Lily Allen, maybe? Great song. Two videos on the site:

Their album released earlier this year is very good and so much fun. They
actually have this thing about exchanging instruments on the different
songs as well.
Makes it rather cool live :) Highly recommended and definitely among my
favorite
albums of the year.

Strange ... I thought it was released this year, but it was actually
released september last year
even though that shouldn't explain the discontinue. There is a link to a
norwegian store where you
get reasonable quality mp3s (256k) from their webpage -
http://www.katzenjammer.no (their page is
mostly in english, but the store is in norwegian but should be easy enough
to navigate anyways.).
I'll have to contact them to see if they could sell it through cdbaby.com
actually.

Interesting - I contacted my local independant record store, and his
sources say it hasn't been released yet. Maybe there's a US release
pending?

Found news about them here:
http://www.faceculture.nl/news_detail.php?id=518 and two CDs on sale
at amazon.co.uk, but no sign of Bar in Amsterdam, except the song is
on the album Le Pop and can be downloaded.

I first heard of them when Yngve mentioned them to me via Facebook. He sent
me a link to a video (Not Bar in Amsterdam, I forgot the name) and I was
smitten!! Thanks Yngve!

You can get the single of Bar in Amsterdam and one other on Emusic, but not
a full length album. Yet.

But I also saw they're on the list for Lilith next year!!!
