Hi, has /dev/dsp1 support been broken in recent 2.3/2.4 kernels for the
es1371 driver? I used to be able to route XMMS & MpegTV through
/dev/dsp1 on my ES1373 instead of /dev/dsp, but now only crackling noises
come out.

P.S. using the 3c95x driver with my 3c905c card on test-ac10 gives
consistant timeout errors, rendering the card unusable.

Cannot reproduce this with 2.4.0-ac11. Does sox work for you on
/dev/dsp1?

Odd, both mpg123 and sox work fine when redirected to /dev/dsp1, but both
XMMS and MpegTV just output nothing when playing sound through that
device. This worked fine back around 2.3.99-pre7.
