I am trying to run fscript from source. All I did was open the project
and Build/Go. I didnt make any changes.

It compiles but then I get the following error:

"No launchable executable present at path.
/Applications/F-Script20090809/Source/build/Development/F-Script.app"

In the project it shows compiled and it's path is as above. But
the .app file is not there when I check with Finder.

Any ideas?

Thanks

1) Seems you have F-Script 2.0. Try with the latest version (2.0.1).
You can get it from the project home page (F-Script20090929).

2) Make sure the current build target in Xcode is the F-Script
application (other possible targets in the project are the F-Script
framework, the IB plugin, and a couple of test helpers. That's not
what you want here.)

Let us know if it is better.

Oops I mean "F-Script20090829".

Same problem. These are the paths I see in the project:

1) .app path: /Applications/F-Script20090829/Source/build/Development/
F-Script.app

2) Build products path: /Applications/F-Script20090829/Source/build

3) The f-script.app is /Applications/F-Script20090829

What do I have to change? Let's say I want the compiled test app to
run starting from /Applications.F-Script20090829/Test

Thanks

I changed the Build path to: /Applications/F-Script20090829

Same problem. Can you help me?

Sure. Please, let me know your Mac OS X version, your Xcode version
and the kind of hardware you are running on (ppc/intel, 32 bit/64 bit).

I just tested on the same config, except that I am on a 64 bit capable
MacBook pro. It compiles and run out of the box.
You could try to switch the active build configuration (generally
accessible in the Xcode toolbar). You could also try to change the
build settings for the F-Script target, using the build setting
inspector. In particular, try to modify the "Architecture" setting.
Other than that, I really don't know what is going on, and what to do
to fix it (well, maybe trying on 10.6)...
