Phantom phlyout was a few weeks ago, at the JG 74 at Neuburg.
Something wrong with the modern Eurofighter ?? Ther are 4 F-4F´s on
alert again in Neuburg.

deals with the Germany Phantom version, the F-4F. Fact and figures of
every single F-4F are descirbed as well as date of first flight, total
figlt hours, date when scrapped or date of planned time in service.

F-4 replaced with EF-2000

Yesterday officially the last F-4F flight took place at Jagdgeschwader
74 ( 74 Fighterwing) in southern Germany. The F-4F is replaced by the
new EF-2000 Typhoon. The remainig F-4F will be flown to 71 FW based at
Wittmund AB in northern Germany. This will be the last GAF Wing flying

This goes along with the post I made a while back about the landing
gear on air force phantoms. Does anyone have a picture or parts
breakdown drawing of the main wheel for an air force or export
phantom? Still trying to figure out how the wheel bearings are
installed.
