F-4 replaced with EF-2000

Yesterday officially the last F-4F flight took place at Jagdgeschwader 74 ( 74 Fighterwing) in southern Germany. The F-4F is replaced by the new EF-2000 Typhoon. The remainig F-4F will be flown to 71 FW based at Wittmund AB in northern Germany. This will be the last GAF Wing flying the F-4 Phantom II until 2012. A picture of the special coloured... more »
