Hi All,

I have created a Braille keyboard - UpSense (that also enables gesture typing with one hand only) that works flawlessly on Android tablets, But since the JB update, Explore By Touch steals all the gestures...

In ICS we could just disabled it, but now the keyboard just can't work with accessibility on.

Does anyone knows how to disable or bypass Explore By Touch programmatically?

Thanks,

Nissan

Presumably, the Latin IME does this though I don't know how, and its
source is open. Perhaps you can look there and share what you find? I'd
be curious as well.

BTW, where can I find information on your project?

Thanks for the idea, I'll try that!
you are welcome to visit our web page at www.inprisltd.com
or look for UpSense on Google Play.
The beta version isn't much accessible in the matter of configuration but you can use a sighted person to help you configuring it as you need.
The default method when you first install it is 5 fingers gesture typing that takes some time to master, but we would upload Braille default version in few days that would be more friendly to blind people when they first install it.
