Very quiet group ... EXPOKIT must work well! 8-)
As I mentioned earlier this year I am still interested in getting a
Python version of EXPOKIT.
Alternatively (but less satisfyingly), one could try to interface the
Fortran routines with Python (e.g. f2py or Pyfort ...). I suppose one
could then use EXPOKIT from Python.
Which approach is better? (I assume you prefer to just support the
Fortran code ...).
Primarily, we are focussed on the exponentiation of real (but
frequently asymmetric, non-normal) matrices. The literature is pretty
sparse on what can be done with non-normal matrices especially if
their conditioning for eigendecomposition or exponentiation is bad.
Any suggestions? Should I focus on particular EXPOKIT routines?
Harry.
