Hello everyone,
 
Thank you for all the well wishes for me on my way out. Now into the second week here in Afghanistan.  You probably heard about some of the activity here.  Every night there is something going on and sometimes into the morning.  Always hear the planes and helicopters taking off. Our living quarters are not far from the flightline and our cable office is right on the flightline.  Busy and long days, and so far doing well. 
 
Attached are a few pictures that I took getting here and after I arrived.  It took over a week to get here. Spent time in Baltimore, Norfolk VA, Lipzig Germany, Kewait, Qatar, Kabul and finally here.  Spent Christmas in Qatar and New Years here in Bagram, Afghanistan.  Was quite an adventure just getting here.  Very different from any other deployment here in Bagram.
 
The middle one is of razor wire on my way to work where I walk across the flightline wearing my M9. The last one is in Doha, Qatar (in civilian cloths).  The first one is me in my bullet proof vest on the plane from Kabul to Bagram, Afghanistan. The captain let us ride in the cabin of the C130 with him and was totally awesome from that point of view.
