Thank You , everyone who replied to my little bit
cheeky message. I'm actually nicknamed Mr Grumpy at the Golf
Course. I'm sorry but I'm a bit of a sceptic; I have alway's believed
(historical research results) that my Ancestors were moved from Ayrshire to
Ireland by a Lord Eglington (Montgomerie) in the early 1600's and then also to
the America's. I find it impossible to substantiate possitively any of my
findings, what I do know for certain is that my gg Grandfather Mathew who was
born in Ireland was in the employ of Lord Eglington in Kilwinning
Ayrshire all his life. It is highly probable that my Ewings were Serfs to
the Mongomeries ( Lord Eglington's).
These Lords were very much involved in the
pioneering of migration from Scotland to Ireland and America.
I appreciate most of my evidence regarding my
Ancestors in Ireland prior to 1800 is circumstantial can my connections on the
dna tree help me here.
