What is subjectivity ? What is the subjective pole
like?
Consciousness can be thought of as a dipole
(by analogy,
like a magnetic dipole) with subjectivity
(the subject) at one end and objectivity
(object) at the other.
consciousness = subject + object
You have
to have both poles to be conscious.
Subjectity is beyond spacetime (like Cosmic Mind
or
Heaven, like Plato's One, or the Oversoul)
while
the objective world is that of science, in
spacetime,
where things happen contingently in time.
In a fwew words, that is the relationship
between science and religion. One can't do
without the other.
