Good Afternoon, Folks!
It's been a month (so far) of a lot of things happening and so I have
been somewhat lax in my postings... I shall try to get that together
for you in the next week or so. Sometimes economic life intrudes (how
dare it, I say). There is one thing that is good with real life,
though, and that's that people get married - and I have to send out a
HUGE congratulations to the GILLIOT (GILL & ELLIOT) for meshing more
than their names this Saturday :)
So, let's look at the highlights... Tonight DANDELION WINE is having
their album launch at The Excelsior which will throw steampunk into
the ambient waves :) Definitely one to hear this evening. That coupled
with MZ ANN THROPIK'S SOS Tour launch at Hot Damn1 na dUtopia on
Saturday makes for a busy one.
The poster-child for Sydney Fetish Clubs, HELLFIRE, is having their
16th Anniversary this Friday night at The Gaff. 16 years of controlled
(but just barely, at times) fetish indulgence is something to be
celebrated and celebrated it shall be. With special guest performers
and welcoming a new resident DJ (Sveta) into the fold, this will be a
celebration to be spoken of in gasps.
LOVE & HATRED gears up for an 80's night extravaganza on Saturday
night, which will see The Taxi Club go all flouro and will be a night
to give any Retro club (any club actually) a serious run for theior
money (not to mention if you're dressed in 80's 'fashion' it's only $5
at the door.
See? Just a short intro this weekend. So, let's just get on with the
