Just a quick update before the final Mardi Gras weekend hits us.

It's been a week off - which I like to do every now and again, because
I can (which is also why I put these things out in advance... so I can
have time off when life, or too many events to see, takes me on a
ride). Still, back now - and straining at the bit.

It's the end of the 3 week (used to be 4-and-a-half but who's supposed
to notice?) Mardi Gras Festival, culminating with the yearly parade up
Oxford Street this coming Saturday evening at 8pm. The expectation is
for about 600,000 people to be there and i serio9usly recommend that
you come along and watch the parade in person, because the only other
way is to fork out $25 to Foxtel to be priviledged enought to watch a
somewhat sanatised version on Foxtel Main Event. get to the viewing
areas early, as they fill up from about 4pm onwards.

Of course afterwards there are parties to go to - some official and
others cashing in on the people left in the city. Me? I'll be heading
off to the one and only Goth/Dark/80's/Alternative club on that night,
which is also free and out of the central city - ASCENSION (details
below) :)

For those going over to WOMADELAIDE this weekend... have a great time
(I hear Sa-DingDing is great!) and of course those lucky enough to be
seeing the Godfather of Electro (GARY NUMAN) tonight, at The Enmore
Theatre, you have my undying envy ;)

See? Just a very short intro this weekend. So, let's just get on with
