Ronan, thanks for this note. I also wanted you to know that I just
co-authored a book with Tom Farmer titled, When the Saints Came
Marching In: A History of the Latter-day Saints in St. Louis. This
book contains a large chunk of materials dealing with European
immigrants who made up most of the population of 3,000 in the 1850s.
In addition, there is an index with the names of these immigrants
which passed through St. Louis on their way to Utah which would be of
great value to people interested in European Mormon Studies. Please
