I thought your members would be interested in my just published book,
Mormon Convert, Mormon Defector: A Scottish Immigrant in the American
West, 1848-1861, the flyer for which is attached. The first third of
the book is a history of Mormonism in Scotland from 1848 to 1854, when
Peter McAuslan, the main character, emigrated. It should be available
through amazon.co.uk within the month. I just saw it for the first
time myself at the Mormon History Association conference, which
finished on Sunday in Springfield, Illinois, near Nauvoo.
