The problem is when I get the long formula, and insert it into
"Previous Solutions" box, it does not accept the formula although
formula was generated by EQ.

I understand that not allowing the long formulas solves the over-
fitting problem. However, I really do need the long formulas.

Would you please be able to give us an option to use the very long
formulas?

What's the error message that you get?

When things get too complicated, it sometimes makes sense to stop and
wonder: Have I asked the right question?

The error message is "Unable to interpret the prior solution"
However, the formula was generated by EQ. Nothing is wrong with the
formula, it is just too long.

This is a known limitation of the prior solution option. There is a possible workaround though, by splitting the solution into multiple functions. For example:

Change your target expression from: "y = f(x)" to "y = f0(x) + f1(x)"  or similar

Then enter the prior solution in two parts like:  "f0 = <first half of long formula>, f1 = <second half here>"

This is a hack but should work.
