to change their names
ep_imageconvert Convert and cut images on the fly for download

I'm just saying, it seems like we're close to having the same (or more) set of features they have, but completely open. If so, it's good to advertise that. If we are missing one or two features, then maybe we want to put some energy into those, so that we are at feature parity with them.

I just started playing with HackPad.
1. Cool: They have an internal invite/alert system so you can put @ and a drop down with users and other 'pads come up for hyperlinking. I like this, but I would rather it link to a twitter handle.
2. Chat: They took out the chat window. Odd.
3. They have a cool desktop notifier that sits next to your spotlight and wifi and dropbox icons on a mac.
Other than that it just feels like a stripped down version with a nicer skin.
No they aren't. Hackpad isn't an open source project. It's a spawn of the old Etherpad w/ a few new features. The Etherpad foundation's goal is to encourage hackpad to adopt etherpad lite given time. We have to make it enough of a value proposition for them though.. FYI their CEO sits on these forums so he can probably pop in and say hi and answer your questions better than me :P

Hi folks -- I can't keep an Etherpad-Lite server running for more than a few minutes before somebody crashes it due to a null pointer error reading the "headers" object, as reported here: https://github.com/Pita/etherpad-lite/issues/544
I can check for headers being null, but what would be the best thing to do at that point to recover rather than shut-down? 147 var headers = responseCache[cacheKey].headers;
