My quick search did not turn up any plans for localization and
etherpad-lite. Although the app is low on text, there is some that
should be localized.
Also, I would like the ability to configure different default text for
new pads and different index.html pages.
Has there been any thought on how best to do this?
In the interest of l10n, and for easier customization, I would like to
also propose making the static index.html and pad.html less static: make
them generated dynamically, then cached, for each locale. Once this is
in place, then other stuff would be easier to alter, like the favicon
and title in index.html. Obviously, it is not hard to modify these by
hand, but doing so makes integration with things like puppet automation
more difficult.
