ES ERROR IN TB V11

Hello
Just started getting this error today:
A News (NNTP) error occurred: Too many connections from your IP address
or server load too high - hard to tell which
I am using Thunderbird V11 and did not have this problem before today.
No problems in the news.mozilla.org, just when accessing groups in ES.
Can anyone offer suggestions?

Configuration Editor, to check the connection limits. See
if yours are radically different than mine.

I think it's the second, third, and fourth line in that example
(as I have three server entries in my TB setup). But don't quote
me on that.
The Configuration Editor has no "undo" function, and is very
dangerous. Don't erase any lines in there, or you'll be sorry.
Ask me how I know...
