ArcGIS 9.2 stability

I have recently upgraded to 9.2 with the hopes of gaining some new
functionality, but the lack of stability overshadows any new
functionality gained with this version. ArcGIS crashes at least once
an hour if not more often. This happens while doing mundane ordinary
GIS tasks (such as exporting an XY event to a shapefile). I am very
frustrating and feel like a fool for upgrading. Has anyone else seen
a drop-off in stability when going from 9.1 to 9.2?

Thanks,
Jeff

The transition to 9.2 was filled with headaches where I work. Make
sure you have SP3, http://support.esri.com/index.cfm?fa=downloads.patchesServicePacks.listPatches&PID=43

I haven't had any crashes, but I have found a few bugs and I suspect
there are hundreds of bugs that SP3 does not address.

Hope that helps.

Here's the list that was a problem before SP3.
http://downloads.esri.com/support/downloads/other_/ArcGIS-92sp3-issues.htm

I believe there is an online list of outstanding bugs post SP3, (or at
least there should be one) but I can't find it at the moment.
