Job Title     :  Cognos Developer
Location     :   Austin, TX
Duration    :   6 Months
Rate            :   $50/Hr

 

Services to Be Performed :
Design and develop complex Cognos reports
Determine the operational, technical, and support requirements for production reporting software.
Analyze performance and resource utilization of reports and optimizing performance.
Analyze use cases for requirements.
Design, develop and tune cubes and frameworks for use in reporting.
Develop and document best practices for production reporting. Mentor other development staff in report development.
Knowledge of relational database design. Writing SQL.
Develop and test new reports and enhancements as requested.   
Participate in code reviews, technical reviews, and audits.
Consult with outsourced service providers on capacity planning, resource utilization, upgrade planning, testing and troubleshooting.
Provide after hours support as needed.
Communicate complex technical information clearly, verbally and in writing.
Develop Complex Dashboards using Globally Parametrized Filtering
SQL & MDX( Multi Dimensional Expression) Tunne skills.
Develop reports from DMR (Dimensionally Modeled Relational).
Develop auto event triggered reports.

 

Required Skills:
