I want to link our website to a picture gallery that we already use.
When clicking on the link, you directly go to the picturegallery. Is
it possible to let the picture gallery open in a new window?

I think I did nothing special for this behaviour to happen. I guess
it's automatic. Is your gallery on the same domain of your satellite?
Maybe it's because of that.

Anyway, you can try with the "target" HTML tag. The web is full of
examples: http://www.pageresource.com/html/newwin.htm
