why not associate Time Log directly with Sales Order

Hi

We are a stone processing and manufacturing company. We are using Time Log on regular basis to track the running hours of CNC machines on daily basis and running against Sales Orders as in many cases we charge on the basis of machine running hours.

However, to do so, I have to create a Project for each sales order as there is no option to directly associate Time Log with the Sales Order. This is a long procedure and I often skip it.

Can't Time Log be linked directly with Sales Order so that we can avoid an extra step of creating a Project.

The best place to post suggestions is on the GitHub Issues. This is a good suggestion, but I am not sure we can get it done on priority.
