[erlang-questions] [ANN] Erlang Bindings for Xapian

I am writing bindings for Xapian as a part of the google summer of code project.
Xapian is a search engine library under GPL.

Fantastic Michael.

What's the status of the project?
Are you sure you want to stick with that name? Why not "xapien", "exapian" ...

It is in the active development, but many features are already here.

Xapian has bindings for many languages and there is a conversation
just to use the same name, if it is free (some languages have few
different bindings).

It is a linked-in driver, but I also planning to support this binding as a port.

The main part is ready, I am planning the release at August, 21.

Maybe. I did not use any platform-specific code. But I didn't test it
on Windows too.
