But don't forget that you should compile OpenSSL by yourself.

You'll want to do something like:

% openssl

./Configure --prefix=/usr/local/ssl --openssldir=/usr/local/ssl shared
make && make install

% erlang

./configure --with-ssl=/usr/local/ssl/ --disable-dynamic-ssl-lib
