[erlang-questions] Mnesia node_down

How long is it between "network severed" and "node_down logged"?

Does it use the net tick, or something else like socket status?

mnesia reports node_down when a link a breaks between the
mnesia_monitor processes.
Thus it's when erlang distribution discovers that the node is unreachable.
