Final listing is posted.

We'll not be updating this listing past this point.

If you mailed your app on Friday or Saturday, and you're wondering why
you're not in here, consider yourself chastised. Your apps will be
held at packet pickup for you to pick up. You're now a "day-of"
registrant.

Speaking of which, we're at 2094 registered. 406 left to go, and if
past years are any indication, we'll probably sell out. We have 2500
chips and no more, so if you plan to do it you'd better come down to
packet pickup.

Before I mention packet pickup locations, please let me say DON"T CALL
THE BLOOD BANK. If you have to call somebody, call Dave Comi or me
(Jim Lang). And don't call during regular work hours. Be a sport -
we have jobs too. (AND DON"T CALL THE BLOOD BANK).

Monday and Wednesday evenings - if you live close enough - between 7 &
9 pm in the garage BEHIND the blood bank. We'll have a light or
something directing you there. DON"T GO INTO THE BLOOD BANK TO PICK
UP.

(I'm shouting because somebody, not you, but somebody, calls the blood
bank every year. They're donating the space to ERC, not their staff,
and they're dreadfully nice about it, but that somebody shouldn't be
calling them)

So, check your reg, pick up your stuff, and have a great race on
Thursday.

Thanks,
Jim

So you don't want us to call the Blood Bank?!! haha just kidding! I'm
pumped for this race. I missed it last year and puked with .5 to go
the year before but i've finally managed to kick that little problem
since early spring this year and need redemption! See you, or
someone, monday evening.

160+ registered tonight, leaving precisely 240 chips for Wednesday
night and Thursday morning. Given our history, I expect a small
number to be available on T-Day morning.

Other items - we'll update the Active.com comments to indicate 7-9 PM
(not AM). Seems some folks thought AM was the time. Newbies,
likely. But now that we know of that weakness, we'll correct it. We
want folks to be well informed.

Some folks did call the blood bank today. Told you so.

Packed pickup officially started at 7:00 pm. More than 100 folks who
where there by 6:30 pm picked up and/or registered. I had 60 apps
entered by the time packet pickup really started. Wow. No complaints
- everyone was super-nice, understanding, and patient. And we weren't
standing around waiting for things to happen. Some of the folks who
showed up too early helped sort shirts while they waited for chips.

Yes, I was the one with the chips. I didn't make them wait on purpose
- I had to finish my 9-5, pick up my daughter, run home, grab the
chips, and set them up. Again, everyone was VERY patient and
understanding. Couldn't ask for anything more.

So Wednesday (EVENING), if you haven't picked up yet, head down there
& Pick up. Garage behind the blood bank. 7-9 pm. Don't call the
blood bank. Save yourself all kinds of hassle.

Oh, and I do predict a shortage of chips for Thursday morning. When
they're gone, they're gone, and we don't have any more. So don't be
late & wind up un-time.

Thanks,
Jim
