Upcoming races

It's been a while, so I thought to throw some things out there.

The first is the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day. This is the first
event in the ERC Winter Series - and a great way to pre-burn the
calories of Thanksgiving Day.

Folks looking for a short drive can go down to Sharon - Buhl Park -
for the Thon 5k. Good times.

The 12th is our very own Snowflake 5k. Dan's putting it together and
then skipping town. Let's see how well we can come together to put it
on.

The 20th is the Mistletoe Mile in North East. Yes, it will be cold &
snowy. It will also be a good time.

Holiday Hustle - Courtney has kind of dropped the Winter Marathon
idea, and I'm ready to pick it up in Erie County. If anyone's
interesed in a handful of 5 milers & a 10k, maybe a 10 miler, and a
series prize, drop me a line (Jim Lang - or respond here). I'm
imagining a series around Erie county - cold, wet, and not much but a
race. It's also not going to be an ERC event. Just a guy trying to
spread the fun. If I can get 20 or more committed to the idea, I'll
run with it.

Jim,

I start training for the Country Music Half Marathon in December; I could
probably use the races as tune-ups. So, yeah, I'll participate.

Good to see that Bob Juchno is in. Hopefully, he can Howard to run also.

Sounds like a lot of fun.
