Thanks for the fantastic response to last week's question (when do you
go short?). If you didn't see it, you can read what everyone had to
say here: http://www.goerieblogs.com/sports/runnersnotes/2012/05/we-asked-whats-your-shorts-cut-off/

Now...for this week's question (if you care to play along):

What can you NOT run without?

Be sure to give me your name and how long you've been running (you can
just do first name if you like...just be sure to tell me that).

This is going to be a fun one! :)

Socks and my favorite running shoes. Everything else is optional :-)

Never take anything with me other than what I wear; shoes, socks, running shorts, and if it is below 50 a shirt and a little more the colder it gets. No music, phone (unless, I`m on call for work), no tech stuff. :) Rick Armstrong (since 1974)

Hi Heather,

I cannot run without my GPS watch. My one 'need to know' is how far I've run. When my watch happens to not be charged, I have an app on my phone that I will use.

I'm with Rick on this one - except for the shoes and socks part!
The most "tech" I use is a watch.

I travel light when I run - no music, no GPS, no shoes! Just me and
the road.
Although a SMOOTH road is always nice! (Sorry, Heather - couldn't
resist!)

I'm intrigued by Rebecca W's reply - where do you run where
"everything" but shoes and socks is optional? Whenever I try that the
neighbors call the cops ;-)
