Please join Arts in Bloom on April 26, 27 and 28, 2013, for the first annual Steuben County Arts Trail event, which is designed to showcase the many talented artists in the county. There will be two main components to Arts in Bloom - individual studio tours and public venues.
The individual studio tours will offer the experience of a private art studio or workspace, chock full of work in progress, inspiration, creativity, and finished work available for purchase. The public venues, located in several spots throughout the county, will allow visitors to enjoy many non-visual artists, such as musicians, poets, and dancers, in addition to visual artists, in settings convenient to the diverse communities of Steuben County. The non-visual artists will offer scheduled short performances scheduled regularly throughout the weekend, and the visual art will be on display and for sale during the entire event.
The kick-off for Arts in Bloom will take place on April 26, 2013 at the public venues, to be announced at a later date, and will begin at 5:00 PM. You can anticipate live performances by local artists of varying disciplines, in addition to a representative selection of work that can be enjoyed throughout the weekend at the private studios and public venues alike.
