As far as i think and understand all  our senses are the material basis of consciousness. We interpret the world around us through our senses and develop our own thinking and opinion regarding a particular object. In this process many landmark ways comes out which becomes a mile stone for generations to come. For example: Mahatama Gandhi's experiments with truth lead to freedom of not only India but also motivated many other countries to do so. Metanomski <zg...@yahoo.com> Dec 15 07:51AM -0800

ENGLISH VERSION TO BE FOLLOWED BY FRENCH.

    GOD'S JUSTICE

In the country ruled by God's Justice Marie-Chantal has been indicted
for criminal aborting action and under interrogation admitted to have
taken steps aimed at artificial termination of pregnancy.

Police investigation brought to light that she actually had not been
pregnant. Yet, she believed it and in order to abort decided to take
    aspirin.

Medical expertise stated that aspirin cannot possibly provoke abortion.

Deeper police investigation found out that Marie-Chantal swallowed a
lump of sugar which she - being Marie-Chantal *) - confused with aspirin.

Her advocate pleaded guilty, with attenuating circumstances resulting
from the medical expertise and the police investigation.

In his summing up the President stressed
1.the actus reus, or guilty conduct,
2.the mens rea, or guilty mental state,
3.police findings, which the Jury may consider as attenuating
    circumstances.

The Jury pronounced "Guilty with Recommendation to Mercy" and
Marie-Chantal was sentenced to the minimum penalty of two years.

In prison she has been raped, got extra uterine pregnancy, has been
legally aborted and died of postoperative infection.

*) The forename Marie-Chantal became the symbol of a young she-idiot
    of good family.

    VERSION FRANCAISE

    JUSTICE DIVINE

Indeed I know there is more to Georges Carlos. And indeed, there is
more information in this sentence than we can find through particulate
study, though we could find what I mean and even what might be taken
as meaning. The news today carries footage of an octopus making body
armour out of coconut shells discarded by humans. What consciousness
    might be involved here?

All manner of particles are postulated and we do not have a definitive
list. There may even be a 'reading particle'!

Do you find it that truth is based on senses and/or matter? If so,
how?
