Subject: Estimating population
Hi there.

Could anyone please give me some guidance on what would be the better
approach to estimate the population, let say I have only the
population of year 1996, 2000 and 2004, and I would need to know 1997,
1998,1999,...,2002,2003 in order to calculate the incidence/mortality
rates etc.

I had a glimpse on using exponential distribution but not entirely
sure how it actually works ie underlying assumptions.

Have a good day.

Many thanks in advance.
