Imagine
an online event with built-in one-on-one
and small-group networking, booths for promoting
your cause or learning about those of others,
self-organized sessions to invite others to . . .
in short, all the social interaction and freedom
of a real-world conference with none of the
airplane food or jet fuel consumption. Now imagine
an incredible lineup of speakers and workshop
facilitators and online action organizers
scheduled to take part. #NoWar2021 is going to be
a virtual online conference unlike anything we've
done before. Early-bird discounted
tickets are available now -- for you or as gifts
for your friends and loved
ones. |
Volunteer
Spotlight: Runa
Ray
This
month's volunteer spotlight features Runa Ray from
Half Moon Bay, California, who is a member of our
new California chapter. Runa says: "As a fashion
environmentalist, I realized that there cannot be
environmental justice without social justice.
Given that war is one of the most expensive
disasters to people and the planet, the only way
forward is to have a world without war."
