Extreme Weather and Climate Events in the Southern Caucasus - Black Sea
Region



3 - 7 June 2013

Tbilisi, Georgia



The aim of the workshop is to facilitate interactive discussion to: 1)
identify and document the extent of extreme weather and air pollution
events, and 2) define the research priorities and propose potential
solutions to problems and/or adaptation strategies related to air quality
and climate change and unsustainable population activities in the Southern
Caucasus - Black Sea region. To achieve this goal and provide opportunities
for professional interactions in a focused and productive forum we will
bring together specialists representing research and educational
institutions, companies, government agencies and nongovernmental
organizations. We are expecting to have 50 - 60 national, international and
local participants.

registered and upload the abstract of their talk.
