Здравствуйте, уважаемые коллеги! 

Пришло время положить конец эре ископаемого топлива.

Международные сети, включая CAN International, Demand Climate Justice, FFNPT, GGON и другие, начали глобальную кампанию - Global Fight to End Fossil Fuels. Индустрия ископаемого топлива ведет войну против человечества и всей планеты, и настало время дать ей отпор. И мы должны объединиться в этой борьбе.

Эта кампания призвана объединить под общим зонтиком всю работу по борьбе с интересами ископаемого топлива (инфраструктура ископаемого топлива, компании ископаемого топлива, правительства ископаемого топлива, банки ископаемого топлива, инвестиции, страхование...), в знак глубокого признания той поистине вдохновляющей работы, которую многие организации и сети уже ведут против индустрии ископаемого топлива. Речь идет об эскалации наших кампаний и коллективном использовании наших возможностей для борьбы с ископаемым топливом. Подробнее об этой глобальной акции можно прочитать на сайте кампании.

Как?

- Запланируйте мероприятие в рамках Глобальных дней действий в сентябре и зарегистрируйте его здесь.

В рамках этой кампании планируется провести 15-17 сентября "Глобальные дни действий", приуроченные к саммиту Генерального секретаря ООН по климату, чтобы привлечь людей на всех континентах к скоординированным мобилизационным действиям с требованием к правительствам покончить с ископаемым топливом. Планируется, что 15 и 16 сентября будут проводиться децентрализованные акции по всему миру, в селах, поселках и городах (в том числе и в Европе), а 17 сентября будет проведена мобилизация в Нью-Йорке (и в США), приуроченная к климатическому саммиту Генеральной Ассамблеи ООН. Эти даты также совпадают с Глобальной климатической забастовкой под руководством организации "Пятницы для будущего", запланированной на 15 сентября. Давайте поддержим мобилизацию!

- Вы можете поделиться этим пакетом действий и веб-сайтом кампании со своими членами и сетями.

It is time to end the era of fossil fuels.

International networks, including CAN International, Demand Climate Justice, FFNPT, GGON, and others, have launched a global escalation campaign - the Global Fight to End Fossil Fuels -. The fossil fuel industry is engaged in a war against humanity and the whole planet, and it is time to fight back. And we need to become united in this fight.

This campaign intends to bring together all the work happening all over the globe to fight the fossil fuels interests (FF infrastructures, FF companies, fossil governments, fossil banks and investments, insurance,...) under a common umbrella, in deep recognition of the truly inspiring work that many organisations and networks are already doing against the fossil fuel industry. It is about escalating our campaigns and collectively using our power to challenge fossil fuels. You can read more about this global effort on the campaign website.

We want you to join us in this journey!

How?

- Plan an event for the Global Days of Action in September and register it here

This campaign includes plans to coordinate ‘Global Days of Action’ on 15-17 September around the UNSG Climate Summit, to get people on every continent to join coordinated mobilisation actions to demand that governments end fossil fuels. The plan is for 15 and 16 Sept to be the dates for decentralised actions across the world in villages, towns, and cities (including in Europe), and then for 17 Sept to be focused on mobilisations in New York (and across the US) to coincide with the UN General Assembly Climate Summit. These dates also coincide with the Global Climate Strike led by Fridays for Future planned for 15 Sept. Let's add European weight behind the mobilisations!
