Dear Civil Society Colleagues,

This is to inform you that the Global Environmental Facility (GEF) we will
be holding an Expanded Constituency Workshop (ECW) for the Constituency
comprised of the following countries:

Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Switzerland, Tajikistan,
Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Belarus, and Russian Federation

The ECW will take place in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, from April 30th -May 2nd
2013.



The GEF will finance the participation of 1 member of civil society
organizations (CSOs) from each one of the above mentioned countries.

The financial support includes accommodation, daily allowance and plane
tickets.



About the Workshop Agenda

The 2013 workshop agenda takes into account the suggestions and comments you
provided in the previous ECW. During the workshop in Dushanbe, there will be
more interactive sessions, a field visit to a GEF project and an important
part of the workshop will be dedicated to the practical aspects of how to
actively prepare a GEF project for submission. Participants will be provided
with a more practical understanding about how the GEF work. Please see the
draft Agenda attached.

Please complete the application form in its entirety by the deadline of
Sunday, April 13, 2013.



The selection of CSO members will be done by the GEF Secretariat based on
the attached criteria.
