Dear Goldman Prize recipients,



We regret to inform you that unfortunately another one of your fellow
Goldman Prize recipients, Mr. Choi Yul of Korea, leader of the Korean
environmental movement, is facing an urgent situation. Due to his
environmental leadership and collaboration with civil society in challenging
a major development project in Korea, Choi has been recently jailed for one
year.



We want to direct you to the attached letter from Choi's colleagues. In
addition, we are including a web link that will take you directly to a
petition where you can add your name in support of Choi. We encourage you to
take action by reading the letter and signing the petition.

Premio Goldman, El Sr. Choi Yul de Corea, líder del movimiento ambiental
Coreano, se encuentra enfrentando una situación bastaste urgente. A raíz de
su liderazgo ambiental y colaboración con la sociedad civil en desafiar a un
gran proyecto de desarrollo en Corea, Choi recientemente ha sido encarcelado
durante un año.
