This year again, it is hosting a greenwashing summit dubbed One Home One Planet. That same planet that Ikea destroys when it cuts down 1 tree every second for its cheap chairs. The cool thing is that it's a virtual summit happening on Twitter... and YES! We'll hijack it together. Some of Ikea's best-selling chairs have been traced to illegal logging in Ukraine's ancient Carpathian forest, one of the last sanctuaries for rare lynx, bears and other endangered species. Ikea responded by promising to investigate the timber companies responsible. But you and I both know that's not enough. We might not have another opportunity like this any time soon to expose and force Ikea to take action. It's up to you to make sure Ikea doesn't ignore us and our demands.
