Rural Women Councils Developed Project Proposals



On 13-15 March, in the framework of the project “Empowered Rural Women for
Sustainable Agriculture in the South Caucasus”, representatives of Rural
Women Councils from Bolnisi Municipality, villages Kazreti and Disveli,
participated in a Training on proposal writing and project management.



The outcome of the training course is 2 project proposals to be submitted
for the next call on Small Grants. Participants were provided with the
manual on project proposal development.



The following specific topics were examined:

• Project Title, Summary and Applicant Qualification (NGO, Association or
others);

• Problem Description and Project Proposal;

• Project objectives, goals and methodology;

• Administrative and Financial Reporting and Monitoring;

• Sustainability of the Project;

• Project Budget;

• Volunteering Involvement;

• Improvement of eco clubs within the local schools.



During the simulation other project ideas were generated that will be
further developed for the grant competition of Eurasian Partnership
Foundation.



Additionally, the RWC representatives were motivated to continue working in
a more efficient way for the development and improvement of eco club
activities within the local schools.
