Are garden stores selling us “bee-friendly” plants that are actually drenched in bee-killing chemicals? If Bayer’s shady behaviour is anything to go by, it’s highly likely this is true. We urgently need to gather the evidence to persuade garden centers to stop cooperating with Bayer’s toxic business. We’ve planned out an undercover investigation and found a specialist lab that can test these plants for pesticides. If it turns out these “bee-friendly” plants are really bee-killers, we’ll blow this scandal wide open -- and we’ve got journalists on call to help us do just that.
