Demo Day in the Village Matani

of Akhmeta Municipality


On April 28th at 12:00 in the frame of the European Neighborhood Program for
Agriculture and Rural Development (ENPARD) and EC funded project “Supporting
Agricultural Co‐operation in Georgia” Biological Farming Association
 “Elkana” is organizing the demonstration of strawberry growing in household
greenhouse

conditions, a demo plot established in the frame of the project in the
village of Matani (Akhmeta municipality) with the beneficiary Teimuraz
Terterashvili.



The aim of the demo day is to introduce interested farmers and other
stakeholders with modern methods of strawberry growing in the 100 m2
greenhouse.



The guests of the demo day will have the opportunity to taste strawberries
produced in the frame of the demo project and get acquainted with strawberry
growing practices in greenhouse conditions.
