очень многие в нашей рассылке (на русском и английском языках) помнят свою деятельность с Фрэном и Джоанной Мэйси из Калифорнии. Фрэн покинул нас вечером в день празднования инагурации Б.Обамы, как президента (сердце не вынесло радости). Джоанна 2 мая 2020 отметила 90 лет. И продолжает радовать нас новыми своими книгами и видео.
Сегодня она прислала вот это письмо (ниже) и ссылки на чудесное и важное видео. Оно на английском.
Пожалуйста, разошлите письмо Джоанны и это видео по собственным рассылкам рассылкам!
Было бы замечательно, если бы этот архиважный текст по климату и жизни человечества кто-то из членов Сети перевел на русский и мы могли бы рассылать, кроме видео, еще и перевод.
Я понимаю, что многие члены нашей Сети не знают английский, но я думаю, что все захотят посмотреть видео и услышать голос Джоанны. А текст письма Джоанны можно перевести в Гугле-переводчике.

I am sending you a link to a 20 minute video entitled, "Climate Crisis As Spiritual Path," which I just received from filmmakers Anne Macksound and John Ankele (Old Dog Documentaries). They interviewed me in 2013 for a film they released in 2014, entitled: "The Wisdom to Survive: Climate Change, Capitalism & Community."
In her email to me, Anne wrote: "You gave us a splendid interview and much of what you said idid not appear in the film, but as John was reviewing the entire interview recently, he realized that it's filled with things that are even more pressing now than when you said them in 2013. So we have put together a 20 minute video and called it: CLIMATE CRISIS AS SPIRITUAL PATH. We think that it answers the most important and painful questions of our time, for example:
How can we live our lives fully, with inner peace and courage (and even joy) as we confront a world that is rapidly destroying itself? We are trying to share this message (at no cost) with as many people and groups as possible, and we are hoping that you can help us spread the word by sharing it on your website and among your many contacts - asking them to do the same. We are good filmmakers, but we are not very good at distributing our work, and this short video, coming in these troubled times, feels as if it might be the most important work we have done since we launched Old Dog Documentaries in 1987.
