As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we have shifted the focus of the C40 Newsletter to highlight global cities responding to the virus and planning an equitable and sustainable recovery for our people, our planet, and our economies.
MAYORS IN ACTION
C40 mayors, supported by climate experts, business leaders, youth climate activists and trade unions, recently launched the Agenda for a Green and Just Recovery. The report outlines ambitious yet tangible steps for delivering an equitable and sustainable future for all as we recover from the COVID-19 crisis.
Watch our video with highlights from the report here.
It’s time to invest in green jobs, foster more inclusive economies, prioritise public health & ensure a climate-safe future. Check out our collaboration with UPWORTHY to see how mayors around the world are building fairer and more resilient communities in the wake of COVID-19.

ILLUSTRATING A GREEN & JUST RECOVERY
This summer, C40 commissioned nine amazing artists to show us their vision of a green and just recovery from COVID-19. The first in the series was Hélène Baum, a French/German illustrator and graphic designer living in Berlin, who said: “The future I want is rooted in the respect of all life."

Follow the series on Instagram, we'll be sharing a new illustration every week!
